Survival of the Fittest Blogger

Creating a blog on blogspot seemed to be a simple thing to me upon first glance. However, it was not long before I was met with great difficulty. Who would have known that the blog title in the URL "allelsefailed" was already taken? In addition to this, they wanted me to type a series of letters into a box to assure that I was not a bot. I swear I am not a bot, but I could not make out what the letters were. It took me two tries to get it right. If I have already encountered such troubles before even my first post, who knows what's in store for me? It's a tough world here in the blog jungle.
